About Me

Hello from Cambridgeshire.

I started this blog when I was an ex-pat living with my husband in Kwazulu Natal on the north east coast of South Africa. I started it as a cooking blog to keep friends and family up-to-date with our life from a food perspective!

We have since moved back to the UK and acquired a Viszla (Rizla) and a baby boy on the 1 September 2014.

So now its morphing into a blog on being a new mother and the fun and challenges posed! I hope to keep the recipe momentum going although they are now 10 minute meals to be prepared with baby on hip!

Happy eating,

Biz x

  1. Hi Biz - how are you and the bear? Any chance of waking the bear from his slumbers to check his email? I'm keen to put plans in place for August. I love the website. It's making me hungry! See you soon Dx

  2. Hi Biz,
Have just discovered your blog (A South African in London after 5 years in Cambs while my hubby was studying - some interesting path crossing).
Anyway working for a community market place for homemade food and wondered whether you were on Twitter so we could follow you and credit recipes I tweet.
Still in SA or back in London? Asking as if the latter you should have a squizz at our site www.cookisto.co.uk

    1. Hi Nikki, thanks so much for getting in touch, how funny we have a lot of parallels! We moved back to the UK and having taken a while getting back into the whole 9-6 solicitor situation am now back focusing on getting the blog active again. I'm pretty backward when it comes to technology

    2. As you can probably tell by the fact I send replies when they're not finished! But I'd love the blog to get a higher profile so I'll have a look into it this evening. Thanks so much for getting in touch and focusing me on becoming a bit more proactive! Biz x
